Occupational Therapy rates
The intake session costs €135, and follow-up sessions are €95.
All occupational therapy sessions last 60 minutes.
Non-Contracted Practice
Wholism does not have contracts with health insurers. This is a conscious choice, reflecting the kind of care I want to offer. Care that no longer aligns with the standard agreements provided by insurance companies.

I am registered as an occupational therapist in the Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics (KP number 29913333690) and a member of Ergotherapy Netherlands.
Occupational Therapy Reimbursements
The basic health insurance covers 10 hours of occupational therapy per year, with the possibility of additional hours through supplementary packages. Each session is invoiced directly, and you can submit the invoice to your insurer for reimbursement.

For non-contracted care, most insurers reimburse around 60% or more, though the exact amount depends on your individual policy.
With a Referral or Direct Access
In most cases, you can book an occupational therapy session at Wholism directly, without a referral. For non-contracted care, some insurers may require a referral from a doctor. Please check your policy or contact your insurance provider to be sure.
Online or In-Person Sessions
At Wholism, you can choose to have your session in-person at the practice or online, so you receive support in the way that suits you best. When booking your appointment, you can easily indicate your preference.
If You Miss an Appointment
Please note that appointments not canceled at least 24 hours in advance are subject to a €75 cancellation fee.
